Security and your funds

Your money stays in your account at your broker, and deposits and withdrawals happen between you and your broker. Legacy Trade does not hold or withdraw funds — it only places, adjusts and closes orders on the MT5 account you link, using the settings you choose.

• Places, adjusts and closes orders according to your bots and presets.
• Reads your balance, positions and trade history to show them in the app.

• Your Legacy Trade login password is stored only as a one-way hash; the original is never kept.
• Your MT5 trading password is kept on our servers in a recoverable form so the cloud engine can log in to your broker while your devices are off. It is not shown in the member app, but service administrators can see it to approve links and handle incidents, and depending on how the account is connected it may be passed to the contractor that handles account connections (see the Privacy Policy).
• Choose an MT5 password you don't use anywhere else, and enter the new one in the app if you change it at your broker.

• All traffic between your browser and Legacy Trade is encrypted with HTTPS.
• Login attempts are limited to slow down password guessing.
• New sign-ups go through email verification and administrator approval, and each MT5 account link is approved by an administrator.
• Don't share your Legacy Trade account with anyone.

You can delete your account from My page at any time once there are no open positions. Your account details, linked MT5 account details (including the password), bot settings and trade records are then deleted from our database. Information we are legally required to keep follows Section 4 of the Privacy Policy.
